Muddy Puddles nursery are pleased to offer a supportive but accessible environment, where children in our care can access a range of activities around the room in which they are allocated to, and also in our outdoor area.
We have used the Early Years Foundation Stages as a baseline to provide activities that are enjoyable, educational but also messy and fun! We believe that children learn best through making their own decisions and choices, therefore we encourage independence alongside structured learning. We have ensured that there are a variety of activities surrounding the five leading senses; touch, smell, sound, taste and sight.
All experiences provided follow our philosophy of a ‘hands on’ approach – which ensures children learn through exploration and play. This includes a number of activities to support wellbeing, for example our ‘wake up shake up’ programme and gardening classes with the children.
